Orange County parents and caregivers now have access to more expert advice from CHOC doctors about how to keep their children healthy and safe.
Thanks to a partnership between CHOC and the owners of the “Orange County Register,” a weekly feature examining health topics will appear in the newspaper, as well as its sister magazine publications.
Each feature will cover a different topic of interest to families, from drowning to concussions, and include an interview with a CHOC physician. In the latest feature, Dr. Delma Nieves, CHOC Research Specialist, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, provides an overview of kids and germs.
The feature will be included inside the newspaper each Tuesday, and in the weekly magazine inserted in the paper each Monday.
Also, the features will be archived in a dedicated spot on CHOC’s website, at www.choc.org/health, along with videos, stories and other information related to the week’s topic. Please be sure to share this valuable educational information and website with your and patients and their families.
