CHOC President and CEO Kimberly Chavalas Cripe has been elected to the board of trustees of the Children’s Hospital Association. She will begin her term on January 1, 2015.
Cripe brings more than two decades of health care leadership experience to the board, including serving as CHOC’s president and CEO since 1997. On a national level, she was a board member for Child Health Corporation of America.
“I look forward to bringing my experience and vision to the Children’s Hospital Association’s board of trustees. I am excited to collaborate with other children’s hospital leaders across the country, working on solutions to our common challenges in improving health care for children,” she said.
The Children’s Hospital Association advances child health through innovation in the quality, cost and delivery of care. Representing more than 220 children’s hospitals, the Association is the voice of children’s hospitals nationally.
