CHOC’s virtual pediatric lecture series continues with a lesson on macrocephaly and hydrocephalus.
This online discussion will be held Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and is designed for general practitioners, family practitioners and other healthcare providers.
Dr. Michael Muhonen, pediatric neurosurgeon at CHOC, will discuss several topics, including:
- Diagnosing and treating macrocephaly of infancy
- Counseling parents with children with hydrocephalus
- Managing patients with implanted shunting devices and patients with positional molding changes of the head
